Abstract
- This paper describes the process of the conceptual and prototypical implementation of a feature within a university-related app. The primary goal of this is to increase motivation to study and counteract the universities’ drop-out rate. The high relevance of the feature gained by conducting several evaluation processes. Around 90 percent of the surveyed students believed the so-called “blackboard” has a positive influence on motivation to study. In addition, a priority list of desirable changes was drawn up with the help of the interviews conducted.
