Abstract
- We are developing and implementing a blockchain-based system that can be used for public digital services. This realization can improve the reputation and trustworthiness of these services and can be used on a wide variety of mobile devices and as a web service. In contrast, similar systems use either simple registration, which is much more vulnerable to illicit activities, or personal identification with identity card, which is much more complex and significantly more resource-intensive.Our solution integrates blockchain-based security components into a social commitment system for a regional scale environment. This enhances both trust into the identity of the users and the integrity of the system as well as the resilience to tampering. The evaluation of this solution will be organized in several successive phases, each with a partially different set of participants and a different focus.
